Folks can get in the holiday spirit when the Christkindlmarket comes back to town.
Hosted by the Twin City Farmer’s Market, the Saturday, November 22nd event will be from noon to 6pm in the village of Dennison.
Board member Shana Angel says there will be something for everyone.
“The Christkindlmarket this year is going to be so much fun. There are tons of activities that we have planned. There will be food and drinks, including a traditional locally made Glühwein, which is a German spiced wine. We’ve got coffee and hot cocoa coming.”
Angel says the market allows attendees to get Christmas shopping done early and locally.
“We’ve got everything from handmade gifts to live greens for sale to locally raised meats. There will be so many options for what you can explore at the market.”
There will also be activities for the whole family.
“We’ve got trackless train rides, fire pits with smores, live entertainment all day long. You can also skate at the skating rink while you’re there.”
More details on all the vendors can be found on the Twin City Farmers Market Facebook page.
Angel adds going into the 3rd year, Christkindl keeps getting bigger and better.
“As a board we have truly poured our hearts and soul into making this an incredible event for the Twin Cities and for everybody in Tuscarawas County, and beyond.”
Outside of this event, Saturday will also feature the Mistletoe Market inside the Streetside Center and the Christmas Market inside Holy Moley Brewery. The Dennison Railroad Depot will off free museum tours.
