Arthur G. Limbacher, 88, of Stone Creek, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at his home following a period of declining health.
He was born on December 19, 1936, in Coshocton County to the late George Clayton and Erma Deagan Limbacher and married Yong Shin on February 9, 1980. She survives.
He was a farmer and was retired from Holmes Limestone. He and Yong attended the Canton Baptist Temple. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and maintaining his lawn meticulosly.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Michael (Sherri) Limbacher of Navarre, Richard (Eiko) Limbacher of Stone Creek, Barbara (Rick) Keffer of New Philadelphia, Brenda Davis of Arkansas and Caleb Limbacher of Millersburg; 10 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister Karen Frutig of Sugarcreek; and brother Kenneth Limbach of StoneCreek.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant granddaughter Angel, grandson Joshua Breehl, and sister Marjorie Tidrick.
Services will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 11 AM at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with Pastor Mike Frasier officiating. Burial will be in the Halifax Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 10-11 AM at the funeral home prior to services.
