Following the November election, two current Uhrichsville at-large council members will remain but one will be replaced in 2026.

Bill Goshorn did not run for reelection and write-in candidate, Robert Baker, will step into the position.

At Uhrichsville’s final council meeting for the year, President Buck Cottrell read a proclamation commending Goshorn for his service to the city.

“On behalf of city council, citizens, and employees do hereby issue this proclamation to Bill Goshorn in recognition to his many achievements we extend our gratitude for his many years of service to the city. We congratulate him to a job well done and wish him continued success and happiness in his retirement.”

Goshorn’s official last day for the city is December 31st.

Baker ran as an independent and will join returning at-large members Larry Malterer and Barbara Colvin.
