Kevin W. “Greek” Meek, 70, of Port Washington, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026, at his residence.
Greek was born November 20, 1955, in Dennison to the late John O. and Helen Lucille (Stull) Meek. He was a 1974 graduate of Indian Valley South High School and later went on to work at Bates Metal for over forty years. He was an active member of the Port Washington Community Center and also enjoyed going to the “Old Man’s Breakfast Club” at Tony’s on Wednesday mornings, as well as the pool league at the Lamplighter Inn. He attended Lost and Working Toward the Light Ministries, was saved, and a God-fearing Christian. Greek never met a stranger, and loved everybody he knew, and they loved him. He enjoyed fishing and going on his pontoon boat. He was also an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed country music and singing. His favorite saying was, “It’s around here somewhere.”
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Mary L. “Till” Meek; his children Melody L. Alexander, and Kevin W. Meek Jr, both of Port Washington, and fur child, Baker Wayne Meek; his grandchildren Justin and Tayler, Mariah (Frank) and Madison, Dacoda, Dylon, Danelle, Rakelle, and Devonie; numerous great-grandchildren; his siblings Vicki Brown, D.J. (Donna) Meek, Brenda Meek, Sherry (Jack) Callahan; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Jacquie Price, Rick Teter, Keith Porter, Frank Stull, Amy Ellwood, and Terry McComb; special caregiver, Lorie Rolli.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Eric S. Morris; his grandson Noah A. Rolli; his brother, Greg D. Meek; and his niece, Angel Callahan.
A visitation will be held at Addy Funeral Home from 12 to 2 p.m. on Monday January 12, 2026. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Steve Adams officiating and Tom Gardner speaking. Greek will be laid to rest in Union Cemetery Port Washington with a dinner to follow at Port Washington Community Center.
