An 82-year-old died in a two-vehicle crash out of Carroll County.

Ohio State Highway Patrol’s New Philadelphia Post responded Tuesday, at 5:47pm, to County Road 54. The investigation determined a 2009 Honda Fit was northwest when it crossed the center line and struck a southwest 2016 Ram. The Honda spun off the road into a ditch, and the Ram struck a guardrail.

Frankie Bouslaugh, of Carrollton, was operating the Honda and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Ram was being driven by a 21-year-old from West Virginia and he and a passenger did not sustain any injuries.

OSP notes the crash is still under investigation, but alcohol is not suspected. Bouslaugh was not wearing a seatbelt.
