Michael Dunn, age 70, of Mineral City, Ohio, died suddenly in his home on Monday morning, January 26, 2026.

He was born March 18, 1955, in Dover, Ohio and was the son of the late Arnell and Bessie (Patrick) Dunn.  His first wife, Debbie Lynn (Conley) Dunn, passed away on May 18, 2005. Mike retired in 2023 as a truck driver who transported explosives for Hilltop Energy at Mineral City.  His primary interest involved his cars and drag racing at Magnolia Drag Strip.  He was most content when tinkering with his cars or rebuilding engines in his garage.  His other passion was enjoying the open road on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. When his health still permitted, he often enjoyed a day fishing or frog-gigging.  Mike formerly owned and operated an upholstery shop in New Cumberland.  He most welcomed and looked forward to his Sunday Morning conversations with his close personal friend Bruce McCreery.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his wife Tina Marie (Androsky) Dunn, with whom he spent more than 15 years and was married May 27, 2022, two sons, Michael P. Dunn of Uhrichsville, OH and Kevin Lee (Denise) Dunn of New Cumberland, OH, a sister, Frankie Robinson of New Philadelphia, OH,  his seven grandchildren  Marissa Dunn,  Mrs. Shanie Anne (Albert) Poole, Brandon Dane Murphy, Kevin Lee Dunn, II, Mikie Dunn, Alexander Dunn, and Samantha Dunn his step-children Tiffany Moore and Rocky Moore, Jr., both  of New Philadelphia, his seven step-grandchildren Grace Linberry, Mya Linberry, Keilynn Moore, Rowan Moore, Lila Moore, Aria Moore and Marlee Wrae Moore, and eight great- grandchildren.

With Mike’s desire for simplicity, a graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Friday, January 30, 2026, in the New Cumberland Cemetery with Pastor John Dunn officiating.  Interment will follow services.  Public calling hours will be observed on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville.  To leave an online condolence message please visit the funeral home website.
