The Tuscarawas County Health Department is getting ready the final phase of a 2 million dollar renovation project and is looking for artwork to add the finishing touches.
Artists have until February 27th to submit their original framed or canvas art for the health department’s art competition.
Community Relations Director Jennifer Demuth there are a lot of walls to fill, and they welcome all types of framed or canvas art from creative minds of all ages.
Artists can submit their original framed art or canvas art to the Tuscarawas County Health Department on East Iron Avenue by 4 p.m. on February 27th. Selected artists will be featured on nameplates that accompany their artwork, which will become property of the Health Department.
Demuth says the building renovations are nearly complete, and the Health Department will host an open house sometime this spring.
