New Philadelphia welcomed a new Chick-fil-A restaurant to Blue Bell Drive Wednesday morning about 24 hours before its scheduled opening.
At the ribbon cutting, Councilman Stephen Rippeth read a proclamation as elected officials, school leaders and other community members crowded into the dining area.
Chamber of Commerce President Scott Robinson welcomed owner-operator Brady Rust.
The restaurant employs more than 120 people and say they’re focused on making an impact in the community.
