Members of the community were celebrated Wednesday evening during the annual Twin City Chamber of Commerce banquet.

Nominees were submitted for six categories, and they were officially named and presented with an award plaque. Among the announcements was First Federal Community Bank getting Business of the Year.

Amy Myers presented the Twin City Award.

“This person plays a vital role in supporting businesses community groups, as well as the residents of Uhrichsville and Dennison. The Twin City Chamber of Commerce Twin City award winner is Rita McPeak.”

The Community Contribution award was presented to Cyndy and Kraig Host and Employee of the Year was given to Ruthann Belknap.

Helen Borland announced the Educator of the Year.

“Someone who inspires people and students of all backgrounds of all abilities. The 2026 Tin City Chamber of Commerce Educator of the Year is April Knisley.”

Rounding out the awards was the Golden Apple presented to Deana Lacroix.

The Chamber also gave out two $1,500 grants to the Uhrichsville Elks and the Tuscarawas Clinic for the Working Uninsured.
