The Tuscarawas County Health Department is raising awareness about the many services it provides — and celebrating public health projects that have improved life across the county — as part of National Public Health Week.
Community Relations Director Jennifer Demuth says the mission is to build a sustainable environment, healthier families, and thriving communities.
National Public Health Week also serves as a time to recognize the public health workers who support families every day — and to advocate for policies that promote good health for everyone.
Demuth says the department is also using this week to thank Tuscarawas County residents for their continued support, which helps make these programs — and partnerships with local agencies — possible.
