Carol A. Allison, 93, of New Philadelphia, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Park Village Health Care Center.

She was born on December 15, 1932, in Dover, a daughter of the late Alvin and Marie Graves Moser. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, H. Duane Allison; sisters, Doris Keener and Jane Liotti; brother, Alvin Moser; and daughter-in-law (Tim’s wife), Linda Allison.

A 1950 graduate of Dover High School, Carol was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed many years living on the family farm on Crooked Run Road. She was a longtime member of the First Christian Church in New Philadelphia and, together with Duane, was actively involved with Gideons International. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, camping, and traveling.

She is survived by her children: Robert (Donna) Allison of New Philadelphia, Richard Allison of North Canton, Timothy Allison of Perry Township, Cindy (Karl) Widder and Beth (KJ) Custer, both of Sheffield Village, and Mark (Linda) Allison of Uhrichsville; sisters Peggy (Joe) Osburn of Delaware and Janet Robinson of Cleveland Heights; brother David (Cherry) Moser of Virginia; 19 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover, with Pastor Jim Borton officiating. Interment will follow at Crooked Run Cemetery in New Philadelphia. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
