Nichole Lynn Jones, 48, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio on Thursday, May 14, 2026. Born March 26, 1978, in Dennison, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Clark Harold “Bud” and Patricia Elaine (née Orr) Jones.
Nichole was a graduate of Claymont High School and lifelong Twin City resident. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and enjoyed playing Bingo.
She will be deeply missed by her surviving family which includes her sister, Chris (Steve) Miles; cousin and devoted caregiver, Despo (Dean) McMath, who was more like a sister to Nichole; nephew, Kohltin (Chelsey) Miles; niece, Kerington (Kole) Rhodes; great-nephews, Dawson, Khalan, and Stetson; and a large extended family.
Pastor Jim Wallick will officiate a 1:00 p.m. funeral on Monday, May 18, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow beside her beloved parents in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, prior to the service. Following the graveside service, Nichole’s family invite all to share in a time of refreshments and celebration of her life at the Uhrichsville Moose Family Center.
Her family deeply appreciate the outstanding care she received at Aultman Hospital, and they also extend their gratitude to the staff at Claymont Health and Rehabilitation for the care they provided during her stay. Charitable contributions honoring Nichole’s memory are encouraged to be made to the Aultman Foundation, 2600 Sixth St. S.W. in Canton, OH 44710.
