A Wilmot conservation center is holding their 3rd annual Ales for Trails on Saturday, May 30th.
The Wilderness Center Director of Development Maureen Kampman says this is a fundraiser to continue the center’s mission of habitat conservation, environmental education, and connecting people with nature.
“This event is a way we’re trying to engage our community to gain support for our conservation efforts as well as our offered educational programing.”
She says the 1-mile pond loop trail will be closed.
“Set up with different breweries along the route for different beer tastings. This year we actually have seven different breweries coming out.”
Pre-sale tickets can be purchased at wildernesscenter.org, but day-of event tickets will be available for an extra cost.
“Wilderness Center members a ticket pre-purchased is $40 and for a non-member it is $45. Those tickets will increase by $5 for a day of purchase. Those tickets include beer samples for our different brewery vendors as well as a souvenir tasting beer mug.”
This fundraiser is for those 21 and older.
Attendees will sample from seven local breweries, a food truck will be available, and there will be live music.
