Vivek Ramaswamy, the republican candidate for Ohio governor, is making himself more familiar with the area while connecting with supporters.

On Friday, he toured buckeye career center, where he also took part in a town hall with voters – as he shared plans for reducing healthcare expenses, energy bills, and property taxes.

Buckeye superintendent Bob Alsept says he welcomes interest in the facility from candidates.

Ramaswamy says this was his fourth visit to Tuscarawas County since launching his campaign.

He’s taking on democrat Amy Acton in November’s election.
