Dover City Schools has announced a leadership change at Dover Middle School.

The district has appointed Erin Margletta as the new principal. She has served as assistant principal at the middle school for the past three years and brings a total of 22 years in education to the position—18 of those in Dover. Throughout her career, she has taught fourth grade, as well as seventh- and eighth-grade math across the district.

Margletta is also a Dover graduate, along with her husband, Jeff, and the couple continues to raise their family in the community. Four of their children are Dover graduates, and their youngest will be a junior at Dover High School this fall.

Margletta says it is a privilege to continue serving Dover schools in her new role.
