A new pumper truck will eventually replace two older fire apparatuses for the Village of Dennison.
The fire department has a contract with and they utilize Mill Township’s equipment.
Dennison Fire Chief Dave McConnell says the township purchased the new E-ONE/ International pumper engine that will hold 2,000 gallons of water.
“Mill Township ordered a new pumper tanker so in about a year and a half or so we will be getting rid of a couple of fire trucks and replacing with one truck.”
The new tanker is from Advantech.
Additionally, the village is looking at covering the cost to replace a 26 year old truck, the oldest in their fleet.
