A Celebrate America Community Concert will be held Sunday at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas.

The Tuscarawas Convention and Visitors Bureau is putting on the event that will have a Ben Franklin reenactor passing out a limited number of $2 bills to school aged children.

Director Dee Grossman says families will need to pack their own lunch for the noon to 2pm picnic, but free ice cream will be available.

“We’ve got flags, puzzles, backpacks, Frisbees.”

Builds from a LEGO contest will be setup inside the PAC and judging will finish at 2:00.

From 2 to 4pm, guests are invited inside the PAC for the En-Rich-Ment Steel Drum Band, Hall of Fame Chorus, and Vane Scott’s “The Many Faces of Old Glory” accompanied by the Patriotic Wind Ensemble.

Grossman says the event is free admission, but a ticket is required, which can be picked up at the door.
