Local seniors and their families can learn more about health, safety, and in-home service programs Friday during a free resource expo at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center.
The center is hosting its “Old McDonald Had a Farm” 50-Plus Expo from 9 to 11am at the center’s dining room in Dover.
Center Director Jamie Smith says it’s a fun and helpful community event aimed at connecting older adults and families with local resources – all under one roof.
Smith says many of these programs are designed to help those 50 and over live in their own home independently for as long as possible.
A farm-themed expo, giveaways, bingo, and local resources are all part of (Friday) morning’s 50-Plus Expo at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center.
