Sandra D. Dotts – October 3, 2026

Sandra D. Dotts, 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Park Village Health Care Center in Dover, Ohio.

Born on November 10, 1942, in Coshocton, Ohio, Sandra was a daughter of the late Wilmer “Windy” and Verna “June” (Hill) Freetage.

Sandra married Ronald J. “Jack” Dotts on September 2, 1961. Together, they shared many years of marriage and raised their family. Jack preceded her in death on April 6, 2020.

Sandra was a hardworking woman who took pride in her work and her family. She worked at Express Packaging in New Philadelphia and also spent many years working at Dante’s Italian Restaurant. Years ago, she worked for South Broadway Nursing Home, which is now Amberwood Manor.

She enjoyed watching western movies and the Hallmark Channel. She also loved going out to eat with her family and friends.

Sandra will be deeply missed by her children, Ronald (Sally) Dotts Jr. of New Philadelphia, Robert Dotts (companion, Karen Billiter) of New Philadelphia, Patricia (Ron) Margo of New Philadelphia, Roger Dotts of New Philadelphia, and Randy Dotts of New Philadelphia. She is also survived by her brothers, Keith (Heidi) Freetage of Gärtringen, Germany, and Greg Freetage of Dover; her sister, Teresa (Bill) Shumaker of Dover; 15 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sandra was preceded in death by those loved ones who passed before her.
