Elijah: Prophet of Fire is continuing it’s run on stage at Ohio Star Theater at Dutch Valley.
Lyrists Ellie Zumbach says she’s excited for people to come out to Sugarcreek and see the story.
Zumbach says the musical follows the biblical story of Elijah.
“A very epic prophet in the Old Testament. He goes up against the most evil and wicked king, it says in the bible, King Ahab and his wife Queen Jezebel.”
She points out the writing process to produce lyrics for the villains but also see the growth of Elijah’s character.
“The villains are always so much fun to write for but Elijah was also a beautiful character to write for.”
Tickets are still available at dhgroup.com/events. Show dates run until November 5th.
