The Tuscarawas County Board of Elections is giving voters just two more days to cast ballots in-person ahead of election day on Tuesday.
Board Director David Johnson says this is the final weekend for early voting at the board office, located at 933 East High Avenue in New Philadelphia, which will be offered Saturday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 until 5 p.m.
Johnson says turnout has been steady, and he’s heard positive comments from voters throughout the month-long early voting process – which has gone smoothly overall, and he says that voters should remember to bring their identification when casting a ballot.
There will be no early voting on Monday.
Election Day is Tuesday, with polls open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Be sure to tune into 99.9FM after the polls close for election coverage.
Results and reactions will be posted to WTUZ’s Facebook page later that night.
Absentee ballots must be received at the Board of Elections office by 7:30 Tuesday evening.
