Gwen Rummell Reporting – The Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital is teaming up with the Dover-New Philadelphia Kiwanis Club and New Philadelphia Rotary Club to hold a low-cost comprehensive blood screening event.

The “Fall Community Health Profile 2023” will be held on Saturday, September 9th, with appointment times available from 6 am to 11 am.

The blood screening event costs $45 and covers a wide range of health indicators including blood sugar, cholesterol, anemia, thyroid function, as well as liver and kidney disease. Men 50 and older can receive a PSA prostate screen for an additional $15.

Appointments can be scheduled by completing the registration form at www.newphiladelphiarotary.com. Telephone appointments can be made by calling the hospital’s Community Relations Department at 330-308-3599 on weekdays from 9 am to 4 pm.

A printed lab report will be mailed to participants 10 to 14 days after the event.
