Alma L. Shrock, 89, of Sugarcreek, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar following a short period of declining health.
She was born on June 20, 1933, in Holmes County to the late Levi M. and Rebecca (Kurtz) Troyer and married Levi “Shorty” Shrock on December 14, 1956. He died in May 2005.
She was an Antique Dealer in the area for many years. She enjoyed quilting, baking, doing puzzles, playing cards with her friends, and attending the Garaway Sr.Center.
She was a member of the Berlin Mennonite Church and attended Sunday School Class faithfully.
She is survived by her children, Paul Shrock of Orrville, Daniel Shrock and Ruth (Larry) Mullet both of Sugarcreek, and Mark (Jackie) Shrock of Dalton; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and her two brothers, Jonas Troyer of Wisconsin and Vernon Troyer of Mt. Hope.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 11 AM at the Berlin Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Hochsteter officiating. In keeping with Alma’s wishes, there are no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
