A popular television show is seeking possible locations to visit throughout Ohio.
American Pickers are hitting the road on a mission to explore the world of antiques through recycling or rescuing forgotten items, while meeting characters with stories and fun items.
Associate Producer Joshua Kerlin says they are getting the word out of the showing coming to Ohio and they’re looking for leads.
“We go through all of those submissions and call and do interviews, and then we ask for photos to do an assessment of whether or not the collection is the right fit for the show, and if it is, we move forward accordingly and that includes a scout visit and then eventually the filming itself. As far as items specifically that are concerned, we do our best not to limit anyone as to what they can submit collection wise because sometimes and oftentimes we don’t know what we’re looking for until we see it.”
Stores, flea markets, malls, museum, auction businesses, and other locations open to the public are not eligible.
