Andre Neil Clemons, 58, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Ohio’s Hospice Lifecare Truman House in New Philadelphia, Ohio, following a brief illness. Born November 1, 1965, in Oakland, California, he was a son of the late Simmie and Charlene (Barnett) Clemons.
A loving father and grandfather, Andre will be missed by his children, Andrea Clemons, Andre Clemons II, Maegan Searcy, LaToya (Jamar) Lyles, John Moreland, and Tyler West; grandchildren, C.J., Nakiah, Kenahdee, Jamar Jr., Abreanna, Makia, Elijah, Zion, Marshawn, Malayah, Jaiden, Nyomi, and Jeremiah; siblings, Carlos Clemons and Tracy Patrick; and nieces and nephews, Saquoia, Zakeeia, Akeevia, and Travon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mikey Moreland; sister, Sherice Clemons: and longtime companion, Kimberly Moreland. Andre was an avid fan of the Oakland Raiders and OSU Buckeye football, and he especially treasured the time that he spent with his grandchildren.
According to his wishes, cremation is planned without a public visitation. He will be interred with his mother in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Andre’s family plan to celebrate his life privately.
