Andrea Ann Smallcombe, 50, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital. Born March 27, 1973 in Dennison, she was a daughter of Weltha L. (Caswell) of New Philadelphia and the late Richard Lee Smallcombe.
Andrea was a 1991 graduate of Claymont High School and a lifelong Twin City resident. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, as well as a fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Ohio State Buckeye teams. She loved music and enjoyed attending many concerts with her sister, nieces, and friends. Most of all, she loved her family, especially doting on her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephew whom she always called “her kids”.
She will be missed by her mother and stepfather, Weltha and Max Nedele; sister, Anita Henry (companion, RB Holcomb); brothers, Richard (Mary Kay) Smallcombe and Kyle (Emaly) Smallcombe; sister-in-law, Ora Smallcombe; nieces and nephews, Heather (Kevin) Bair, Nicolette (Mitch) Hodgkiss, Ivy (Quinton) Banks, and Julia, Olivia, and Ava Smallcombe; great-nephew and great-nieces, Drake, Meadow, London, Ali, Mackenzie, and Magdalyn; many wonderful friends; and a special cousin and caregiver, Nicole Busby. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Craig Smallcombe.
Andrea’s family will receive callers on Saturday, May 6, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. A private, family service is planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rainbow Connection, 119 3rd St. N.W., New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
