Angela Christeen Bender, 51, of Uhrichsville passed away peacefully in the Community Hospice Truman House surrounded by her loving family on January 10, 2024, following a battle with cancer.
Born in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 10, 1972, she was the daughter of Joseph (Margarita) Iannuzzi of Louisiana and Pornsri (Ralph) Sornsueb Scribner of Nevada.
Angela graduated from Basic High School in Henderson, Nevada. She was a very proud mother of her four children and was “obsessed with her loved ones.” She had a great passion for the United States Air Force and was often a giver of US Air Force items to friends and family.
She also loved to connect with “her people” while sharing a meal. She never passed up an opportunity to gather and enjoy the company of those she deeply loved. Meals were always enhanced by her generous spirit, showing up with several additional dishes.
Other hobbies included shopping and watching Star Trek, specifically Voyager.
In addition to her parents, Angela will be deeply missed by her family including her husband, Keith Bender; her children, Christine (Carlos Thompson) Iannuzzi, Edward Tomski, Cassie Tomski, and Michael (Kinzi) Tomski; her siblings, Scott Iannuzzi and JoAnn (Joseph) Napolitano; her grandchildren, Carlos Jr., Cyanna and Cyrie Thompson, and Waylon and Winzlee Tomski; her stepdaughter, Adalyn McClelland-Garner; and her niece, Nikki.
Her faith was nurtured at the Revive Church in New Philadelphia where her visitation will be held Sunday, January 14 from 3 to 5 p.m. Pastor Tom Cunningham will lead a service there beginning at 5 p.m. A private burial will be held in Schoenbrunn Meadows later next week.
