Anna Belle Klaiber, 97, of Sugarcreek, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Park Village in Dover following a period of declining health.

She was born in Mt. Blanchard, Ohio on May 2, 1928, to the late Carroll and Helen (Nesbaum) McVitty and on June 21, 1952, she married Rev. Arnold H. “Arnie” Klaiber. He passed away on June 10, 2015.

Anna Belle was an elementary school teacher for several years and then continued as a substitute teacher. Her biggest vocation was supporting her husband in his ministry.  She was a faithful member of Sugarcreek First United Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children, Mark (Esther) Klaiber of Sugarcreek, Philip (Ellen) Klaiber of Chagrin Falls, Nancy (Keith) Troyer and John (Tammy) Klaiber both of Sugarcreek; grandchildren, Clint (Lisa) Troyer, Emily (LW) Beckley, Craig (Kaitlin) Miller, Kyle (Michelle) Klaiber, Luke Klaiber, Sam (Brittani) Troyer, Kayla (Kevin) North, Matthew Klaiber, Kelsey Klaiber, and Makenna (Matt) Imburgia; and 13 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother James McVitty.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 11 AM at the Sugarcreek First United Church of Christ with Pastor Earl Rogers officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call on Monday from 10-11 AM at the Church prior to services.
