Anna Mae Martini, 93, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Park Village Health Care Center in Dover, after a long period of declining health. Born August 26, 1929 in Mill Township near Uhrichsville, she was the last surviving child of the late Fortunato David “Frank” and Enrica “Henrietta” (Dallago) Martini, having been preceded in death by her sisters, Mary, Lena, Ines, and Blanche Martini, and brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Edith Martini, Joe and Marian Martini, and Francis and Carol Martini.

A woman of deep faith and commitment to her church, Anna Mae was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison and a 1947 graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She faithfully served her parish as an active member of the Altar Society, a Eucharistic Minister, a dedicated Sacristan, and as a volunteer at the annual parish festival, working at the candy booth with her sisters. She was an administrative assistant for many years in the local clay industry at H. K. Porter and Larson’s Clay Pipe Company, before working in admissions at Twin City Hospital until her retirement in her 70s. She was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and looked forward to the start of each new season.

Anna Mae will be deeply missed by her surviving family which includes her nieces and nephews, Denis (Beth) Martini, Dante (Colleen) Martini, Timothy (Marie) Martini, Dale (Rose) Martini, David (Cheryl) Martini, Cheri Patterson, Dana (Darla) Martini, Jan (Ron) Kail, Gregg Martini, Leanne (Brett) Jinks, and Michele (Don) Robinson, and numerous great-, great-great-, and great-great-great-nieces and -nephews, as well as a special cousin, Bill (Sandy) Orr.

Father Jeff Coning will celebrate the funeral Mass on Saturday, March 25, at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery near Dennison where she will be interred, surrounded by the family whom she loved so dearly that went before her. Family and friends are invited to call at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, concluding with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service led by Father Coning. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions honoring Anna Mae’s life may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 206 N. 1st St., Dennison, OH  44621 and Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr., Suite E, Uniontown, OH  44685. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Park Village Health Care and Crossroads Hospice for the care given to Anna Mae.
