Anne Renee Hart, 64, of Kimbolton, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at the Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare Truman House in New Philadelphia, following a 7-year bravely fought battle with cancer. Born March 21, 1960, in Zanesville, she was a daughter of Ora Lee (Adams) Zwick and the late Edmond August Zwick, Jr.

Anne was the salutatorian of Indian Valley North High School’s class of 1978, having also been graduated the same year as a member of the first class at Buckeye Vocational School where she had studied to become a paralegal specialist. She enjoyed a career spanning more than 40 years, beginning with Atty. Tom Little, and continuing with Connolly, Hillyer, & Ong. Despite her declining health, she continued her paralegal duties until the final weeks of her illness – demonstrating her remarkable work ethic.

She leaves behind a large and loving family to mourn her passing which includes her son, Sam (Carly) Hart; daughter, Staci Hart; grandchildren, Bo Black, Reide Black, and Jack Hart; mother, Ora Lee Zwick; fiancé, Alan Bliss; siblings, Rose Zwick, Dan (Ada) Zwick, Sharon (Tim) Kalp, Katy Zwick, and Amy Zwick; brother-in-law, Scott Mackey; and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her coworkers, including Mary Jo Watson with whom she had enjoyed a very close working relationship. In addition to her father, Edmond Zwick, Jr., Anne was preceded in death by a sister, Christy Mackey.

Anne will be remembered, not only for her deep commitment to her professional life, but for her expansive love and dedication to her family. When her children were young, she found a way to support them in all of their academic and extracurricular activities, even though the challenges of being a single mother. Her absolute love for her children and grandchildren was obvious to all who knew her. She treasured many happy days spent with her son and his family on their farm, as well as attending her grandchildren’s events. Anne always looked forward to trips to visit her daughter in Nashville where they enjoyed many fun times together. She was also a devoted daughter and sister, cherishing those relationships throughout her life. She was a fan of the Buckeyes, and – until her health prevented her – she loved motorcycle rides with her fiancé, Alan.

Father Jeff Coning will officiate the funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 10, in Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison where Anne had been a longtime member. No visitation is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tuscarawas County Junior Livestock Committee, 419 16th St. S.W., New Philadelphia, OH  44663.
