The United Way of Tuscarawas County’s biggest fundraising event is this weekend with an afternoon of drinking and dining at Kent State Tuscarawas.
The sixth annual Brews and Bites is Saturday from 2 to 5 indoors and outdoors on campus.
United Way’s Hannah Hartman says they’ve expanded the beverage menu this year with several wineries joining the usual lineup of craft breweries.
The unlimited Bites at the event will be provided by local eateries serving cheeseburger sliders, chicken nuggets and sandwiches, pulled pork sliders and dessert.
The fun includes live music, yard games, a 50/50 raffle, a gift card pull and a silent auction. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased by Friday online at tuscunitedway.org.
