The Tuscarawas Valley Pioneer Power Association is hosting its 62nd annual steam show this weekend.
Families are invited to enjoy activities all day long starting at 8 a.m. and admission is $7.
Board member Ben Pauli says they will be at a new location this year.
“Held at 8770 Day Avenue in Navarre. There will be signage along State Route 21. We are close to the highway, but just far enough to where you feel like you are in the country.”
This show will feature antique tractors, a garden tractor pull, a one-of-a kind steam engine, a farm toy show, vendors, and more. He says there will also be a special Ohio-built equipment display.
“There were quite a few manufacturers building farming equipment in the state. We will have Russell steam engines and a thrashing machine. There will be gas engines from all over the state. We’re expecting a good turnout for Ohio-built equipment.”
Organizers say the steam show is a way to celebrate preserving the past and educating the future.
