Dover’s next large-scale housing development will be in front of the city’s planning commission later this month.
The preliminary site plan calls for 83 new housing units – a mix of homes and condominiums– in north Dover off of St. Peter’s Church Road near Dover Burial Park. It’s on 33 acres of land recently annexed into the city.
Mayor Shane Gunnoe says the development fits with the city’s goal to create more housing.
The proposal by Lawver Built LLC will be reviewed by the city’s planning commission on December 9th .
Lawver is also building the Crimson Cove subdivision about 2 miles south of the newly- proposed development. Gunnoe says about have of those 30 lots have been sold.
