Applications Accepted for Dover Council Seat

With a vacant seat on Dover City Council, applications are being accepted to fill the position for the remainder of the term.

Joe Sciarretti was appointed in 2022 when Justin Perkowski moved to the Council President seat.

The Tuscarawas County Republican Central Committee is seeking candidates for the Council At-Large position. Applications are due by Friday, July 28^th and requirements include living within the Dover city corporation limits and having a voter registration with the Republican Party.

On Thursday, August 10^th, Dover members of the central committee will meet to interview candidates and will vote to fill the vacancy. This meeting will be conducted at the Republican Headquarters, 1053 State Route 39 NW, in New Philadelphia.
