Nick McWilliams reporting – Starting off a new week, more road work will begin by the Ohio Department of Transportation.

For District 11, a project just to the east of Millersburg to replace a culvert will start on June 5th. That work is on State Route 39 on the eastern corporation limit, and traffic will be maintained via flaggers.

The project, weather permitting, will wrap up by the end of September.

In Carroll County, in Malvern, State Route 43 is closing over Sandy Creek starting on Monday for a bridge deck replacement from Lee Road to Carrollton Street.

The full replacement is expected to last until the end of October, with detours taking drivers to State Route 171.

With ongoing projects in Tuscarawas County, State Route 93 is closed two miles north of Dundee for a culvert replacement, and will open next week. Resurfacing work is also ongoing on I-77 in the county, along with several culvert replacements.

ODOT asks all drivers to utilize patience when driving around construction work, and to always obey traffic laws.
