Barbara Glidden, 70, of Stone Creek, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Hospice House in New Philadelphia.
She was born in Dover on October 21, 1953, to the late Charles and Norma (Carpenter) Mullet and on January 10, 1976, married Vance Glidden. He survives.
She worked with her dad for many years at Mullet Accounting in Sugarcreek. It then became Troyer and Associates, from which she retired.
When not working, she enjoyed gardening and canning the fruits of her labor. Her greatest joy was spoiling her granddaughter and spending time with family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Carly (Adam) Hemsath of Canal Winchester; granddaughter, Makayla Hemsath; and her brother, James Mullet of Bangkok, Thailand.
A Celebration of Life Service for Barb is planned for Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with Pastor Bill Eckert officiating. Friends may call on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the funeral home from 10-12 prior to her Celebration. Private family burial will be held in Foxfield Preserve in Wilmot.
