Several Buckeye Career Center Business Professionals of America members are heading to nationals in May.

The qualifications come as a result of top rankings at the Ohio Business Professionals of America State Leadership Conference on March 7th and 8th in Columbus.

Gage Fouts of Indian Valley placed third in Computer Security and Marc Tufford of Newcomerstown was a top-five finisher in Network Administration with Cisco. The two will represent the Computer Technology/Network Systems lab.

Students from the Buckeye Business Academy at the East Holmes Campus included Addi Peachey earning first place in Intermediate Word Processing, Laila Kramer earning third in Fundamental Word Processing, and Geneva Graber placing fourth in Advanced Spreadsheet Applications.

The Parliamentary Procedure Team of Katie Troyer, Jasmine Montanez, Alex Yoder, Rose Schlabach, Marissa Montanez, Brooke Yoder, Kyle Miller, and Jesse Hershberger won first place.

The 2024 Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference will be held on May 10th through the 14th in Chicago, Illinois.
