Seven of Buckeye Career Center’s Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) members will move onto the state competition.

Following attendance at the regional competition on March 9th, the group qualified for the Ohio FCCLA State Leadership Conference.

Madison Humphreys (Dover) took gold in Interpersonal Communications, while Zoe Blickensderfer (Indian Valley) earned silver.

The team of Olivia Andrews (Dover) and Madison Powell (Strasburg) were awarded silver in Professional Presentation. Another Professional Presentation team consisting of Kenneth McLaughlin (Conotton Valley) and Angelica Misheff (Carrollton) also won silver.

Alexandria Sica (Garaway) qualified by taking bronze in the National Programs in Action category.

All qualifying students are enrolled in Buckeye Career Center’s Teaching Professions program. The students will travel to Columbus to compete on April 25th and 26th.
