Buckeye career center is welcoming young runners there on this Thursday (September 5th) to compete and see all what the school has to offer.

Public Relations Coordinator Shyanne Carroll says the career center is hosting its annual free biddy cross country race this afternoon on a course around the campus designed by the energy operations students.

Carroll says they typically get about 300 kids to run.

Student registration begins around 4:15 pm and the first race is at 5:30. There are four separate races for the different age groups and medals are awarded.

The biddy race event at Buckeye will also have a DJ and inflatables beginning at 5 pm. All participants also get refreshments at the finish line.
