Buckeye Career Center (BCC) had a great turn out after their Signing Day event on Wednesday.

The Career-Technical Education and Military Signing Day honors student already working full-time or will accept a full-time position after graduation.

A total of 66 students committed to full-time employment at 33 companies.

Public Relations Coordinator Shyanne Carroll expressed how much it means to the technical center.

“It shows that what we are doing here and what they are doing when they come to Buckeye really mean something. It shows that they are receiving the training that they need to enter the workforce as maybe a 17 or 18 year old student making full-time wages.”

Carroll adds that the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning program had the highest amount of students signed.

A large amount of students also committed to the armed forces and medical field.
