Becky G. Cadle, age 74, of Leesville, Ohio, died suddenly at her home on Sunday, August 25, 2024.

She was born November 16, 1949, in Martins Ferry, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Ernest A. and Georgia (Kelly) DaRe.  Her husband, Neil S. Cadle, whom she married February 14, 1969, passed away on October 22, 1999.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother Ernest DaRe and two sisters, Joyce Rotondo and Dorrie Holstein.

She was a cashier at Lowe’s in New Philadelphia for eight years until an accident forced her retirement.  Becky was always proud of her appearance and the desire to keep her home presentable. She was very fond of the beach and loved to lie out in the open and soak up the sun.  She was particularly fond of her grandchildren but wasn’t ashamed to show “tough love:” when she felt it necessary.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be missed by her family and a host of friends.

She is survived by two sons, Brian K. (Laura) Cadle of New Philadelphia, OH and  Eric (Ashley) Cadle of Uhrichsville, OH, her six grandchildren  Zach (Marissa) Ott of Cadiz, OH, Chaselyn Cadle of Leesville, Briar (Fiancée Natalie Baker) Cadle of Dennison, OH, Neil Cadle and Madison Cadle, both of New Philadelphia, and Austin (Fiancée Alexis) Lute of Dennison, and three great-grandchildren Waylon Ott, Colter Ott,  and Avery J. Lute, a sister, Kathy DaRe of St. Clairsville, OH, and a brother Rick (Monica) DaRe of Columbus, OH, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Family graveside service will be scheduled at a later date in the Tunnel Hill Cemetery near Bowerston where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Neil.  An additional Celebration of Life Services will be scheduled in the future. The Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville has been entrusted with her arrangements. To leave an online condolence message please visit the funeral home website.
