Announced at the latest New Philadelphia council meeting, Beth Gundy said it was her last meeting as she gets ready to retire.
Gundy served the city for 28 years, starting in 1996. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from The Ohio State University.
“And I wanted to tell everyone that I am appreciative of working with each and every one of you. I wish everyone the best.”
As the City Auditor, Gundy duties over the years have included maintaining city finance records, city funds and records of revenues and expenses, as well as, reporting the city’s financial position to council and the Ohio auditor.
