Betty June Hargrave, 98, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away on July 2, 2024, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Betty was born at home to William Thomas Robinson and Mary Margaret Perkins on June 3, 1926. She was a 1944 graduate of Uhrichsville High School who worked for many years as a hairdresser in Uhrichsville. She was still a member of the Uhrichsville First Methodist Church.
Betty is preceded in death by her first husband, William J. Lehigh; her second husband, Harry L. Hargrave; a daughter, Pamela (Andrew) Scarborough; three brothers, David Robinson, Michael Robinson, and William Robinson; and two sisters, Patricia (Walt) Hines and Gretchen Patterson.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Susan Tischbein; her grandson, Zachary Tischbein; her granddaughter, Zoe Tischbein; and the love of her life, her great-granddaughter, Quinn Marie. Also surviving are a stepdaughter, Patricia Franks, and a stepson, Robert Hargrave.
Her family will celebrate her life privately before she is interred in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to Uhrichsville First Methodist Church. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Hospice by the Sea / Trustbridge and her caregiver, Fatima Parish.
