Betty L. Fearon, 74, of Dover passed away at Park Village Health Care Center.
Born on September 28, 1948, in Bowerston, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Margaret (Corbin) Lambert. She was also preceded in death by James Fearon; along with three of her brothers; Danny, Jim, and Paul Lambert.
Betty was the co-owner and operator of the Navarre Drive Thru and Liquor Store for 40 years before her retirement. She had also worked at Corell’s Potato Chips for several years.
She was a member of the Holy Family Parish of St. Clement Catholic Church in Navarre. Betty enjoyed bowling, golf, and playing cards and bingo with her friends. She will be remembered for her delicious cooking. She also had an avid love for animals.
She leaves behind her three children; Harold (Kathy) Fearon of Wooster, James “Jim” (Michelle) Fearon II of Strasburg, and Carrie (Mike) Domer of Dover; her beloved grandchildren, Riley, Olivia, Kate, Christopher, Robin, Taylor, and Alec; great-grandchildren, Carson, Landon, Colin, Emmerson; along with her brother, Ralph Lambert of Canfield.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Strasburg on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Strasburg. Friends can call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. A meal will follow the service of committal in the funeral home’s reception facility.
