Betty L. Stilgenbauer, 93, of New Philadelphia passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 in the Community Hospice Truman House.
Born on July 10, 1930, in York Township, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Mary Zedi Yaggi. Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Stilgenbauer on February 4, 2015; son and daughter in law, Tom and Marla Stilgenbauer; three sisters and five brothers.
Betty retired as a Dietary Technician from Union Hospital after 16 years of service. She was also a devoted member of Jerusalem Church and the Bible Study Club. Betty was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her sons, Richard (Lisa) Stilgenbauer of Dover, Jeffrey (Ruthie) Stilgenbauer of Cincinnati, Robert (Sharon) Stilgenbauer of Sugarcreek; daughters, Judy Siber of Strasburg, Sally Reichman of Tuscarawas; sister, Alice Leggett of New Philadelphia; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 27th starting at 11:00 am in the Jerusalem Church at New Philadelphia with Pastor Tom Hendershot officiating. Interment will be in the Jerusalem Church Cemetery. The family will be greeting friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
