Betty L. Toth, 78, of New Philadelphia passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the home of her daughter in North Benton, Ohio.
Born on December 14, 1943, in Dover she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lena DiPalma McKean. Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Toth on December 25, 2016; and her brother, Mick McKean.
She retired from Lehigh Insurance Agency in Uhrichsville after many years of service. Betty loved spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren, and in her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, reading, and gardening.
She is survived by her children, Tami (Jeff) Mitchell of Uhrichsville, Joe Hughey of Columbus, Jodi (companion, Walt Greenawalt) Hughey of North Benton; sister, Barb (Don) Deetz of Stone Creek; grandchildren, Cody, Trent, Madison, Taylor; great-grandchildren, Makena, Nakaya; and nephews, Brandon, Travis, Damon, and Colson Deetz.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. There are no services or calling hours.
