Billy Thomas Woodby, 70, of Newcomerstown, went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2023, at New Dawn Nursing Home surrounded by his family. He was born August 17, 1952, to the late Thomas Woodby and Rosa (Buchanan) Woodby.
He was a strong believer in the Lord, Jesus Christ. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed the holidays when his family came together with fellowship.
He is survived by his wife Melanie L. Woodby; his brothers and sisters, Kenny (Dreama) Woodby, Peggy (Bill) Bohs, Carl (Tina) Woodby, Kathy (Leroy) Bryant and David Woodby; his children, Billy Jo Marling, Brian (Stacy) Woodby, Shelley (Adrian) Alvarez, Shawn (Dave) Bryant, Rocky Case and Tim (Mary) Case; his grandchildren, April (Charles Erwin) Stephan, Jody (Josh) Beckett, Michelle Haught, Ashley (Patrick) O’Conner, Mickal Pennington, Katelynn (Kaylyn) King, Deanna Woodby, Kirsten Woodby, Tyler Woodby, Thomas (Fayth) Woodby, Stephanie Alvarez, Efrain Alvarez, Paul Case and Eddie (LaShay) Case; 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother Charlie Woodby; brother-in-law Dale Thornton; granddaughter Raven Jade Revere and great grandson Jace Easter.
Funeral services will be held Friday July 28, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown with Pastor Mike Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday July 27, 2023, from 5 to 7 at Addy Funeral Home.
