BMV Kiosk Installed in Discount Drug Mart

A new way to renew vehicle registration has come to the New Philadelphia area in the form of a self-service kiosk.

The BMV Express Kiosk is located inside the Discount Drug Mart on 2^nd Street NW. Mayor Joel Day recognized the new addition in his Mayor’s Report on May 30^th stating, “By using the kiosk, they claim it should cut the time to get an auto registration card and license validation stickers to under two minutes.”

After a transaction is made, a new vehicle registration card and license plate stickers will print. A 1.95% or $1.75 processing fee will be imposed when paying by credit or debit card. The kiosk cannot accept cash or checks.

Kiosks can also be found in South Zanesville and North Canton.
