Bonnie J. Tidrick, 84 of Newcomerstown, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 18, 2026 at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Bonnie was born May 28, 1942, in Newcomerstown to the late Howard “Bob” and Martha A. (Smith) Moore. Bonnie graduated from Newcomerstown High School, class of 1960, and went on to work as a secretary at Riverside Manor. On February 4, 1961, Bonnie married Melvin Tidrick. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Newcomerstown. She enjoyed reading, quilting, and sewing. She also enjoyed bowling. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters Melissa (Skip) Snider, and Barbara (Todd) Taylor; her son-in-law George Hayes; her grandchildren Matthew Tidrick, Curtis Fisher, Amber (Nate) Cooper, Alison (Bryan) Westfall, Shae (Jessica) Taylor, Braeden (Evelyn) Taylor, David (Kayley) Snider, and Katie (Will) Hess; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; her sister Carolyn Jones; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Along with her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty years Melvin Tidrick, who passed away in 2022; and her daughter Maribeth Hayes.
Per Bonnie’s wishes, a cremation will take place. Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mike Kennedy officiating. Bonnie will be laid to rest in West Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
