Brenda Kaye (McInturf) Young, 66, of Dover, passed away suddenly at her home following an apparent health issue, on April 27, 2026.

Born in Zanesville on January 5, 1960, she was the daughter of Shirley M. (Eppley) Witcher and the late Ronald C. McInturf. Brenda was a graduate of New Philadelphia High School and Buckeye Career Center, where she studied restaurant management. She worked in a variety of roles throughout the community over the years.

Brenda dearly loved her daughter, Jessica Weaver, and was incredibly proud of her. She shared a close bond with her mother and sisters and always looked forward to family gatherings.

She had a special love for small dogs and enjoyed spending time with them. Brenda also loved to travel and was eagerly anticipating her tenth cruise this summer with her daughter.

Her faith was nurtured at Jerusalem Church, a place she found great peace. She was an active member of the Tuscarawas County Senior Center and also cherished her friendships at Seaton Square.

In addition to her mother and daughter, she is survived by her sisters: Debra Van Dorsten, Nancy Cozad, Dolla (Joe) Koval, and Darla (Kenneth) Kerns, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
